It got its start in Los Cabos, Mexico. It has been to Cape Cod, Hawaii and Vail. Now, it’s Naples’ turn to host a Resort Symposium put on by the National Association of Realtors, the “voice of real estate” with more than 1.3 million members. The event has brought hundreds of Realtors here for education and networking this week. It’s geared toward Realtors who specialize in resort, vacation and second-home markets, such as Naples. Realtors are here from 31 states and three countries. The symposium, called “Sunshine Connection,” is being held at the Naples Grande Resort and Club off Seagate Drive. Vacation and investment home sales have been on the decline in a tough economy.
